At Budapest International College (BIC), students from all around the world are offered a unique and helpful service that provides them with foundational education, as well as helps them make the right study choices, in order to allow them the opportunity to enrol for quality programmes at different partnering Hungarian institutions, in their chosen fields.
Although these foundation programmes prepare students for university entrance in the specific fields of science, business and engineering, a very holistic learning approach is still taken to grant students a variety of skills.
The foundation programmes include the following:
- Intensive University Foundation Programme – this one semester programme offers very intensive preparation for the student’s intended bachelor’s degree, including teaching them Professional English, Maths and Sciences, European Culture, and much more.
- University Foundation Programme - Professional Track – this programme ensures that the student gains professional preparedness so that they can enter into degree programmes for their chosen discipline among the various engineering, IT, and science programmes.
- University Foundation Programme - English Track – This is an English preparatory programme designed for students who do not exhibit enough proficiency in the English language, which would be required of them at their university level.
Once a student has enrolled to, and completed a foundation programme with BIC, they will have the chance to study towards Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes at any one of the partner universities.
