In the European University Cyprus’ (EUC) over 60 years in operation, the institution has divided its teachings between a number of schools of education.
These schools include the schools of Medicine, Sciences, Business, Law, Humanities, and Social and Education Sciences, with a Distance Education Unit also available for students to enrol for online learning.
Their School of Medicine has made particular strides in diversity and academic achievement.
The school prides itself on its commitment towards providing high-quality medical education, skills training, and real-life medical simulation programmes to prepare future Doctors of Medicine (MDs) for the unpredictability of a career in healthcare.
Their MD degree is conducted and completed in the English language, making for a universal qualification.
With particular emphasis on the MD Doctor of Medicine qualification, the programme’s universality is supported by the fact that the degree is modelled around European Union (EU) directives along with a number of other international healthcare standards.
Not only are their methods of education set to international standards, their medical efforts have also been recognised with International accolades, with their MD programme having been awarded first prize for “Best Medical Solution” and “Best Education Installation” at the Creston International Awards Competition.
The MD programme is built to prepare its diverse students hailing from other parts of Europe, Asia, and Oceania for whatever further education in medicine they might want to pursue, or for immediate employment.
The university is also planning on expanding its School of Medicine MD programme to Frankfurt, Germany, making education more accessible in other parts of Europe.
The medical degrees offered at the School of Medicine include the following, along with the traditional MD programme:
