The Universidad Católica de San Antonio Murcia, or what is also commonly regarded as UCAM Spain, is a Catholic institution of study that offers students the ability to partake in tertiary education through the religious lens of Catholic teaching. As such, the university offers the same services of quality education as many other institutions, but catered specifically towards those who wish to uphold Catholic values within their studies.
On a whole, the institution wishes fundamentally to employ rational truth and religious faith in students’ development as scholars and researchers in the science, technological and cultural spheres of study, and of broader life. To do this, the university applies a more intimate learning process which entails teaching among smaller groups under a personalised teaching methodology that offers students individual attention and dedication.
This learning approach is set to induce personal autonomy for students, whilst also allowing them to harness their individual, as well as collective creativity, all in the service of their faith. Evidently, the university’s innovative efforts, combining the pursuit of truth with religious identity, has allowed them to quickly make a name for themselves in their under 30 years in establishment.
UCAM has achieved a number of important accolades, including being granted a 4 star rating from the world-respected QS Stars Rating System, an amazing feat for such a young university. Furthermore, the university has also landed the third spot for the best private universities throughout Spain, according to the Best Global Universities ranking.

As can be seen above, the university prioritises Spanish as the main medium of teaching, despite offering a few courses in English. However, in addition to these degree options are a number of short courses that are also available for study in either English or Spanish.
Finally, the university also accommodates students between a set of five different campus facilities from which students are allowed to study. These include: Murcia Campus, Cartagena Campus, Vocational School, UCAM Spanish Sports University, and John Paul II International Institute.
