The financial aid programs are set up to cater to the financial welfare of students who meet the designated criteria for scholarship recipients. PU offers two categories of scholarships namely, Sports Scholarships, and Defence Scholarships.
The students who meet the specified basic requirements of these scholarships, with the necessary ethical academic standards and good conduct, can be granted financial aid. Here, we will be focusing on the Sports and Defence Scholarship programs offered by the university.
Sports Scholarship
Different full and partial sports scholarships with, fellowships, stipends, and fee relaxations are available for deserving applicants. The quantity of scholarship/fellowship and the period of scholarship/fellowship are subject to change from time to time.

The benefit of the scholarship is given in the selected game only for one certificate which will be the highest participation. If a student is involved in any code of misconduct according to the university/respective federations, the scholarship benefit provided will be terminated.
Students availing of hostel facility under a sports scholarship must attend the classes when there are no training sessions held and shall mandatorily attend training sessions when such sessions are held.
Certificates produced for participation in games would be considered for the last 4 years only.
Only those selected games/sports will be considered for the above-mentioned incentives/schemes, which are in the list of the Indian Olympic Committee (IOC), Indian Olympic Association (IO), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Khelo India University Games, School Nationals, MYAS (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports).
These scholarships are applicable for Bachelor and Master's Courses offered under the faculties of Commerce and Arts. However, players with A+ and A Grades only may be considered for any professional course under the faculties of:
Engineering, Science, Hotel Management, Architecture, Management, IT & Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Social Work, Law, Fine Arts, Library Science, Design, and Arts are subject to approval by the Statutory Authorities in the University. (Except Medical, Para Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing, Ayurveda, Homeopathy).
The Defence Scholarship:
This is a Parul University scholarship program for students with a background in defence forces. The university aims to honour the sacrifices and achievements of the defence forces by offering financial assistance to students who have a defence background.
The scholarship provides students with the necessary resources and an all-encompassing education to excel in their chosen field. The Armed Forces Cell of the university also serves as a medium to support, train and motivate interested students to join the defence forces.
The scholarship is applicable to all regular courses, and interested students are urged to apply at the earliest. Parul University in Vadodara has released guidelines for the Defence Scholarship program, aimed at encouraging and facilitating higher education for dedicated personnel and their dependents in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, and Indian Coast Guard.
The scholarship scheme includes provisions for both serving and retired defence personnel nominated through study leave. The scholarship program is applicable to all regular courses offered by the university.
The guidelines emphasize that the initiative is an attempt to provide the necessary resources to enable the defence forces' dependents to access higher education and provide a stepping stone towards a successful future.
