The University of Law, since its founding in 1962, has dedicated itself towards enabling its students to focus specifically on the study of law to varying degrees. In addition, the university also offers substantial business, policing, and criminology degree programmes that either supplement a law degree or can stand on their own.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic affected the way in which all education has, and will continue to be conducted, the university has instilled a programme of hybridised learning, incorporating more digital learning approaches to prepare students for the growing use of technology for everyday activities in the modern world.
The university aims to implement this hybrid learning system through five pillars: teaching excellence, data, design, assessment, and student experience. These pillars will be supported by 4 model themes: inclusivity, distinctiveness, sustainability, and impact.
