Have you been mulling over completing your Master's in Business Administration at a well-reputed business school in the United Kingdom? Then the MBA programme offered by the University of Suffolk could be an ideal option for you.

A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) qualification can expose you to countless career opportunities in the world of business, particularly when studying abroad. So if the University of Suffolk is your preferred institution for the programme, let's explore what you can expect when you are enrolled before submitting your application.

The programme is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of business fundamentals and the ability to think strategically and creatively. The University of Suffolk's MBA programme is delivered by the Suffolk Business School, which is one of the leading business schools in the UK.

The school is accredited by the AACSB, NASPAA, and CAHME, which is an indication of the high quality of the programme. The school has also been awarded a Bronze Award by the Small Business Charter, which recognises the school's contribution to supporting small businesses.

The MBA programme is designed for professionals who are looking to enhance their business knowledge and skills. The programme is taught by a team of experienced academics and practitioners who bring their real-world experience into the classroom.

The year-long programme covers a wide range of business topics and includes modules in Operations and HRM, Financial and Risk Management, Global Economic Trends, Strategic Change Management, Strategic Marketing, Consultancy Management, International Business Strategy, and Research Methods.

Students are also required to complete a 15,000-word dissertation. However, the MBA takes two and a half years to complete for students who opt to enrol on a part-time basis. Students will then attain a total of 180 credits upon completing the qualification.

In terms of entry requirements, the university requires you to meet the following academic eligibility criteria:

  • Hold a degree with a 2:2 minimum classification or equivalent from an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, or;
  • a professional qualification of graduate status, or;
  • an HNC or HND and have three years of management experience, or;

International students who are non-native English speakers are required to complete an English language assessment, to gauge their proficiency. This means that, if you’re required to apply for a Student Route visa to study in the UK, you may be required to sit a Secure English Language Test (SELT) as part of the process of obtaining a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).

The institution has also pointed out that any placement offer will be subject to your ability to discuss and debate pertinent business issues during your interview. The institution has also outlined International academic requirements by country for you to read through as well as those that are geared towards International and European Union (EU) based applicants
The University of Suffolk's MBA programme also offers students the opportunity to undertake a live project, where they work on a real business problem for a local organisation. This project allows students to apply their learning in a real-world context and to develop their problem-solving and project-management skills.

The UOS's MBA programme is an excellent choice for professionals who are looking to enhance their business knowledge and skills.

The programme is delivered in a flexible format that allows students to balance their work and study commitments, and it has a unique focus on sustainability and responsible business practices.
