Medical Radiation Sciences
The Mohawk College and McMaster University Medical Radiation Sciences (MRSc) Programme is a collaborative diploma-degree program.
Explore a dynamic career in one of the fastest growing fields of health care through diagnostic imaging and treatment.
Students attain both an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences and Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences, which is achieved through a fully integrated program offered jointly through Mohawk College and McMaster University.
This program will allow students to specialize in one of the health science disciplines:
- Radiography
- Ultrasonography
- Radiation Therapy
Nursing (BScN)
This course is a collaborative program of Mohawk College, Conestoga College and McMaster University. Students may choose to attend one of the three sites and graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree from McMaster University.
This program is recognized as a Canadian Nursing Education Program (CASN) Accredited program. BScN is now the minimum requirement for nursing registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, in order to practice as a registered nurse (RN).
The study of nursing, the physiological, psychological and social sciences, and the humanities are interrelated and span the entire program, over a four-year study period.
Upon graduation, students wishing to engage in the professional practice of nursing and use the title Registered Nurse are subject to qualifying examinations and other requirements by the licensing body, the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
Digital Health Bachelors Degree (Honours)
Digital health is a discipline that includes digital care programs, technologies with health, healthcare, living, and society to enhance the efficiency of healthcare delivery and to make medicine more personalized and precise.
