The Metropolitan School of Business and Management (MSBM) is a young institution designed specifically to bridge educational gaps. Only having been established officially in 2012, the relatively new university has taken up innovative solutions towards education-based problems and has developed a platform that not only awards its own degrees with partner institutions, but also offers pathway and executive education courses to those seeking it.
When it comes to bridging gaps, MSBM regards itself as an Ed-Tech pathway college, priding itself upon introducing innovative technology into the educational space and bridging the gap between the traditional structures of education and the changing digital world. Furthermore, whilst the school grants students the possibility to earn a diploma degree that will grant them the necessary knowledge needed to enter into a business degree at their choice of institution, it also gives already working professionals that extra edge in the workplace through continuing professional degrees (CPD).
Moreover, students from all over the world will get the chance to enrol at the school in their own capacity, as MSBM is known to offer courses that are internationally regulated and targeted to prospective scholars worldwide. This has meant that students from more than 185 countries will and have had the opportunity to enrol for the business courses from the comfort of their native countries, ranging from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe.
Furthermore, as a part of the college’s forward-thinking approaches, MSBM also expresses educational aims built upon balance, encouraging independent study whilst offering adequate support to students as they complete their education. As such, students are given time to conduct self-study in their own time but are also offered institutional guidance through weekly virtual classrooms, the help of e-mentors, and courses that are created by industry professionals to steer students in the right professional direction.
