Beginning as an institution to train schoolmistresses in 1851, the University of Derby has since evolved, earning its official university status in 1992. Since then, the university has gone on to provide hundreds of programmes for study to prospective students.
Programmes are available through a number of different learning mediums, meaning students can choose to either study via an in-contact or online learning system. These studies can be uptaken on a full-time or part-time basis.
