Finding the right university can be extremely difficult for any prospective student. What can be arguably more difficult, is finding the perfect institution in a country that is different from the applicant’s country of origin. Year after year, students born outside of the UK apply to UK institutions, often with the prospect of greater opportunities in mind.
Since looking for institutions overseas opens students up to a larger pool of potential universities to choose from, one may not have the opportunity to adequately consider each university due to distance. To tackle this issue, the SI-UK University Fair simplifies the selection process for international students by bringing the universities to them.
The University Fair allows representatives from each UK institution that is a part of the fair to showcase their university to prospective students. This is a good opportunity for students to learn things about the university that may not be mentioned on their website, or may be tougher to find online.
The University Fair caters to students in certain cities within these regions: the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia, South Asia and the Asian Pacific. Some of the cities include in-person visits from the fair, whilst other fairs are conducted online.
