Entry Requirements for Students Coming From South Africa
Undergraduate:
In order to study at undergraduate level (Bachelor’s degree), you will need to have attained five passes at one sitting at Senior Certificate (with matriculation endorsement) achieving at least 66665 or higher grade (excluding Life Orientation).
If you have achieved less than this, you may be eligible to join the Foundation programme.
Postgraduate:
For Postgraduate study (Master’s degree) you will need to have the equivalent to a British Bachelor’s (Honours) degree, the level of which will differ for each school of study.
All applications will be considered individually and work experience, and other interdisciplinary achievements are taken into consideration when deciding upon all applications.
English Language Requirements:
The UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) has rules about the level of English needed before they will issue a visa to study in the UK. It is also very important that your English level is of a good standard for you to be successful in your studies
All applicants must achieve the minimum requirements in all 4 components (listening, reading, speaking and writing).
The University of Buckingham has higher requirements than the minimum specified for a degree level course in the UK (Common European Framework, grade B2).
